Apart from original guitar pieces by Aguado, Mertz, Diabelli, Carulli, Sor, or Carcassi, this edition also contains easily playable arrangements of classical masterpieces such as Vivaldi's 'Four Seasons', Handel's 'Fireworks Music', Mozart's 'Magic Flute' or Verdi's 'Chorus of Hebrew Slaves'. The arrangements want to provide access to the masterpieces of concert literature and encourage the joy of classical music. Autoren-Porträt
Der Berliner Konzertgitarrist und Gitarrenpädagoge Martin Hegel absolvierte seine Ausbildung an den Musikuniversitäten in Köln, Wien, Berlin und Salzburg. Er war Preisträger bei über zehn internationalen Musikwettbewerben. Seine Konzerttätigkeit führte ihn durch viele europäische Länder wie Italien, Spanien, Frankreich und Japan. Zahlreiche Rundfunk- und CD-Produktionen vervollständigen sein künstlerisches Profil. Martin Hegel ist Lehrer an verschiedenen Berliner Musikschulen und beschäftigt sich seit vielen Jahren mit der Didaktik der Gitarre.
