Dr. Helen Gries studierte Vorderasiatische Archäologie, Altorientalistik und Vor- und Frühgeschichte in Mainz und München. Seit 2015 ist sie Kuratorin für Mesopotamien am Vorderasiatischen Museum Berlin. Aktuell forscht und publiziert sie vor allem zu altvorderasiatischen Glasurziegeln und Glasobjekten.
