Some motifs that resonate emotionally-the mask, the mermaid, the heron-are recurring symbols, which embody a state of in-betweenness. Altin invites viewers into immersive installations to witness processes of change and becoming. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAltin is awarded the 2024 Hannah-Höch-Förderpreis. Her exhibition at the Berlinische Galerie can be read as a \"speculative cartography.\" The accompanying catalogue unites two volumes and is an experimental continuation of the exhibition.
