He currently is the center head and principal research scientist at Materials Architecturing Research Center in Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) and also professor at Korea University KU-KIST graduate school. His research group is working on 2D MXenes, graphene, functional polymers and nanocomposites for electromagnetic shielding and absorbing. He has published more than 100 papers in some important journals including Science, Adv.
