Robert Nies studied Law at Justus-Liebig-University Giessen and at Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf specialising corporate law. During his doctorate he worked as a research assistant at the chair of Prof. em. Dr. Ulrich Noack for civil, commercial and corporate law of and at the chair of Prof. Dr. Thilo Kuntz (LL.M. University of Chicago) for civil, commercial and corporate law. Since 2023 he is attending his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf.
