The use of augmented reality in industry holds enormous potential. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Werner Schreiber led the research field of Virtual Technologies in corporate research at Volkswagen AG for 15 years and several national research projects in this field. At the same time, he served as managing director of the joint venture between Volkswagen AG and VARTA Microbattery GmbH. He is a consultant and adjunct professor at Otto von Guericke University and Steinbeis University, both in Magdeburg, and lectures on VR/AR in production.
