Over the last ten years, the Faculty of Art and Design at West University of Timi?oara has developed into one of the most important driving forces for culture in Romania. The vibrant arts scene around the campus helped the city establish itself as a hotspot for art and was instrumental in Timi?oara being named European City of Culture in 2023.In 2025, the faculty is celebrating its thirty-fifth anniversary.
