»Employee protection in the event of accusations by a whistleblower«: This thesis focuses on the legal position of those employees who have been the target of whistleblowing allegations and who have suffered disadvantages as a result. In particular, if the content of a report is false, the question of protection arises. Claims for damages by an affected party against the whistleblower require the affected party to know the identity of the whistleblower, which makes it necessary to assert a claim for information in advance.

Leon Frese studied law at the University of Passau from October 2015 to September 2020. After completing his first state examination, he worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Civil Law and Labor Law until March 2023. Since April 2023, the author has been a legal trainee at the Higher Regional Court of Munich.
