»The Out-of-Court Consensual Divorce in Greece. A model for Germany?«: The thesis examines whether an out-of-court consensual divorce procedure based on the Greek model should be introduced in Germany. In Greece, a marriage can be dissolved exclusively out of court through notarized certification by mutual consent. This model strengthens the spouses' private autonomy, accelerates the procedure, and relieves the courts. With certain adjustments to protect public interests, its introduction would also be desirable in Germany.

Konstantina Liavas studied law at the University of Würzburg, where she passed the First State Examination in Law in 2019. She then worked as a research assistant to Professor Dr. Michael Sonnentag at the University of Würzburg until September 2021. Afterwards, she completed her legal traineeship (Referendariat) in Bavaria, finishing with the Second State Examination in Law in 2023. Since 2024, she has been practicing as a lawyer in Frankfurt am Main.
