The Three Studies by Ludger Vollmer are three short monophonic studies and are derived from the melodic material of the Pavane de Spaigne by Michael Praetorius. Here the Pavane was not read as a motig but as a formula and therefore is not used as rigidly and not rhythmically bound. Instrumentation:piano
