KG«: In his thesis, the author deals with the question of how a company's treasury shares are to be evaluated in the event of a change of legal form. Specifically, he addresses the questions of the permissibility of the change of legal form while holding treasury shares and the treatment of treasury shares after the change of legal form. In doing so, he looks at both directly and indirectly owned treasury shares. He then transfers his findings to the 'Einheits'-GmbH&Co. KG.

Niclas Poot studied law in Cologne and Barcelona. After his first state examination, he worked as a research assistant in two international law firms, while simultaneously pursing his doctoral studies. Since November 2023, he has been completing his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Cologne.
