This textbook covers the elements of discrete mathematics and their algebraic foundations, which have relevant applications in computer science. It addresses the necessary tools for competently evaluating modern developments in the information age of AI. Important mathematical statements are proven in full. Exercises, each with complete solutions, reinforce what has been learned.
