Mark Sperring wurde 1963 in Swindon geboren und wuchs in Weston-Super-Mare auf. Er verließ mit 16 Jahren die Schule und jobbte einige Jahre lang in einer Druckerei, bevor er nach Bristol zog und in einer Buchhandlung arbeitete. Obwohl er nun ein publizierter Schriftsteller ist, liebt Mark immer noch seinen Hauptberuf - wenn er kein Buch schreibt, packt er eines aus! Er liebt es zu laufen, ins Kino zu gehen und Musik zu hören.
