Speaking Drums

Eötvös' percussion concert Speaking Drums has long been part of the standard repertoire. A poem serves as the basis for each of the individual movements. The player recites the texts and imitates them on his drums. The result is a virtuoso dialog. Instrumentation:percussion solo and piano
