»Strategies of International Large Banks. An Empirical Analysis of the Internationalization, and the Effect on the Financial Success of Global Systemically Important Banks«: This book examines in particular the question how the internationalization of large banks has developed (also in a regional comparison) and which effects are associated with financial success. In addition to analyzing theoretical approaches, previous research and development trends of international banks, the empirical part analyses 35 banks from Europe, North America and Asia (based on the G-SIBs) for the period 2007 to 2019.

Oliver Göldner ist seit mehr als 10 Jahren in der Finanzbranche tätig. Nach einem Dualen Studium an der BA Glauchau und einem Master-Studium an der Universität Leipzig (beides berufsbegleitend mit der Commerzbank in Leipzig) arbeitete er mehrere Jahre als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter & Doktorand am Lehrstuhl für Finanzierung und Banken der Universität Potsdam. Danach war er Berater bei KPMG Luxemburg im Bereich Risk & Regulatory Consulting (für Banken & Asset Manager). Seit Mai 2023 ist er bei Attrax Financial Services in Luxemburg als Investment Analyst im Research-Team tätig. 2024 schloss er seine Promotion ab.
