»Regulatory and Implementing Technical Standards in Banking Supervisory Law«: The European Banking Authority drafts regulatory (RTS) and implementing technical standards (ITS). They are regularly issued as regulations and are delegated or implementing acts pursuant to Art. 290 et seq. TFEU. Technical standards have 'sui generis' hierarchical status. They must be given special treatment regarding delimitation, interpretation, ECB's standard setting, legal protection and comparative law.

Daniel Schilke works as in-house lawyer for an international bank in Frankfurt am Main. He studied law at the Ruprecht Karl University of Heidelberg, St. Petersburg State University (Russia), the University of Geneva (Switzerland) and the University of Cambridge (UK). He completed his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Karlsruhe with an elective traineeship at the European Central Bank in Frankfurt am Main. While working on his thesis, he worked for several international law firms.
