Part one of Soft , 'On the Planetary', describes how softness stems from subtle processes that shape our complex world, from river silt and glacial ice to microplastics. 'At a Breaking Point' addresses norms, institutions, and housing blocks to reveal how architecture carries the weight of ideologies. Politics takes shape in textures, surfaces, and personal histories. 'Through Interaction' weaves stories from threads, organisms, and codes under the logic of malleability to question the idea of architecture as neutral or complete.
