The following volume is the outcome of the 9th International Conference on Translation Studies, organised in 2025 in Pobierowo, Poland, by the University of the National Education Commission in Kraków and the University of Szczecin. At the conference, translation scholars and practitioners from Poland, Germany, and the Czech Republic presented and discussed current interdisciplinary trends in Translation Studies. Autorenportrait

Dr Nataliia Holubenko is a lecturer at the Faculty of Humanities at Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic. Her research interests are deeply rooted in translation studies, focusing on the cognitive processes involved in translation, the impact of cultural contexts on translation choices, and the evolving role of technology in translation practices. Her work aims to bridge theoretical concepts with practical applications, enhancing the understanding of how translators navigate complex linguistic and cultural landscapes. Univ.-Prof. Dr. habil. Artur Dariusz Kubacki, Germanist und Übersetzer, ist seit 2014 Leiter des Lehrstuhls für Deutsche Sprachwissenschaft an der Universität der Kommission für Nationale Bildung Kraków, Polen. Seine Forschungsthemen sind Fachübersetzen/Fachdolmetschen und seine Didaktik unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der Übersetzung von Terminologie auf dem Gebiet Recht und Wirtschaft. Dr Alina Szwajczuk is a scholar of English studies, a sworn translator and interpreter of English, and a lecturer at the Institute of Linguistics of the University of Szczecin, Poland.
