Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Klarinettenkonzert A-dur KV 622

With the Clarinet Concerto in A major K._622, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart created one of his most intimate and mature works - a late legacy full of radiance, warmth and lyrical depth. Award-winning violist Timothy Ridout has arranged this masterpiece for his instrument in a consummately playable version. The virtuosic as well as sensitive arrangement provides violists with an authentic gateway to one of the most beautiful concertos of the Classical period, for here - carefully edited and with Ridout's fingerings - is also the musical text. "Ridout's Mozart": a real enrichment of the repertoire for teaching and the concert platform, or simply for the joy of making music!
