Hannah Pauline Welling studied Law at the University of Hamburg from 2017 to 2022. She began her doctoral research after completing her studies. She worked as a research assistant under Prof. Dr. Dr. Milan Kuhli at the Chair for Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure including its International and Historical Context. She has been undertaking her legal clerkship at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court since April 2025.
